Shantel J. Kuntuzos
Shantel received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School of Los
Angeles, where she was a two-time recipient of the Florine
Carmen Phelps Scholarship. She was sworn in as a member of the
bars of the California and U.S. District Court, Central District, in
2005 and joined the firm in December of that year. She graduated
magna cum laude from Mesa State College with her Bachelor of
Arts. She has a strong background in HR related matters and has
distinguished herself in the firm with her litigation/negotiation
skills, the good common sense of her midwestern background and
the experiential grounding she's acquired over the past couple of
years in her other job, being a proud mother of an active toddler.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Kuntuzos spent 2 years in investment
management with The Capital Group Companies, and 5 years in
human resources with the international forest products company,
Weyerhaeuser. She then clerked for a high-profile Century City
construction law firm, and volunteered her time to the Ventura
County Superior Court’s Self-Help Legal Access Clinic. She is a
member of the Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, and Ventura
County Bar Associations. She is also a member of The Birth Action
Coalition, a group dedicated to creating and maintaining
supportive birth environments for women and their families.

Of Counsel to the firm, Jeff has been practicing law since 1981.
He's a devoted Spartan, having received his Bachelor of
Science degree from Michigan State University in 1971. He
received his Juris Doctor degree from Glendale University
College of Law in 1977 and was admitted to the California Bar
in 1978.
His professional memberships include the Los Angeles County
and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations. His practice offers
complete Estate Planning services designed to safeguard
clients and their business and personal assets, including
Probate, Trust, Conservatorship, Guardianship, and Elder Law
issues.
Jeff is a member of the Chatsworth/Porter Valley Chamber of
Commerce and the Northridge/Chatsworth Rotary Club. He is a
"scratch" golfer and thus has earned many trophies in,
appropriately, the gentlemen's sport in which he so excels.

Alicia Gonzalez
Alicia Gonzalez began working for the firm in 2002 as Mr.
Powers' Legal Secretary and Office Manager. She has
experienced memorable personal events while with the firm,
including receiving her Bachelor of Science in Marketing
from Cal State University Northridge in 2003, and getting
married in 2008.
